Within these pages is something that is very dear to my heart. I was one of these battered women for several years. At the time, I thought there was no help to be had and in my part of the country, there was not much. It is a long story and I rarely tell it. These days I am married to a most wonderful man who treats me like I am precious. It is quite a change from the first 20 years of married life for me. But when I find a cause that supports help for others who are living the story that I did, I want to help in whatever way that I can.

There are many other women who are living with domestic violance today, who think there is no help for them.

I wanted to make a page where you could learn more about other battered women and there are also children involved.
